Reversal Cluster Search

The indicator trails an invisible trend level along the candle's max-volume price (POC) and draws a reversal arrow the moment price closes on the other side of the level — confirmed reversals only, no manual markup.

The trend level trails the max volume: close breaks it down → ▼ SHORT at the top, up → ▲ LONG at the bottom.
WHY IT MATTERS
1
Finds reversals by volume

The indicator reads the max-volume price levels on its own and works out the trend direction — nothing to mark up by hand.

2
Confirmed reversal only

The arrow appears only when the close breaks the trend level — random pokes inside are filtered out, fewer false signals.

Works on any timeframe

The logic adapts to the market itself; put it on any instrument and timeframe — from minutes to days.

As long as price holds on one side, the indicator simply moves the trend level along the POC — no signal. The moment a candle closes on the other side of the level, ▼/▲ appears. Pokes inside the level are filtered out.

HOW IT WORKS
1Takes the candle's max volume

In each candle it finds the max-volume price — the POC (MaxVolumePriceInfo.Price). This is the cluster the logic will follow.

2Trails the trend level

As long as price holds on one side, trend.Level trails the max volume — the direction is read for you, no signal yet.

3Waits for a close break

The moment the close moves to the other side of the level, that's a confirmed reversal, not a random wick poke inside.

4Places the reversal arrow

Close above the cluster → ▲ LONG at the Low; close below → ▼ SHORT at the High. Plus an alert — sound and text.

Anatomy of a signal candle

Indigo MAX cell — the max-volume price (POC); the trend level trails above it. The close moved above the level → ▲ LONG is placed at the Low (markerPoint).

Indigo dashes — trend level — trails the POC; a close break through it = reversal
Green candle + ▲ LONG — close above the level → uptrend, arrow at the Low
Red candle + ▼ SHORT — close below the level → downtrend, arrow at the High
IN PRACTICE
2026-07-02T20:49:24.057214 image/svg+xml Matplotlib v3.11.0, https://matplotlib.org/
Long reversal: downtrend, the signal candle closes above the volume cluster → ▲ at the Low → confirmed move up +26 ticks.
Confirmed long off the cluster

Downtrend — the level trails above price; the signal candle closes above the volume cluster → ▲ at the Low. Enter on the arrow, stop below the reversal point, confirmed move up +26 ticks.

Long entry on a confirmed cluster reversal

You're waiting for a downtrend to break and want to enter long right at the reversal point, not guess the bottom by hand.

  1. Put the indicator on the chart of any instrument and timeframe
  2. Watch the trend level — the indicator trails it along the max volume down
  3. Wait for ▲ — a candle closed above the volume cluster, the trend has broken up
  4. Enter long on the arrow; stop — below the reversal point (at the Low)
Result: Entry right at the start of an uptrend on a confirmed signal, stop below the reversal level; false entries on pullbacks are filtered out because the arrow only fires on a close break.
